Based on historical documents, Master Abdolrahim Shooreshi revived the rug making industry in Isfahan after the Safavid dynasty's collapse a century and a half ago. He established a workshop in Isfahan's Naqsh-e Jahan Square and employed a group of the finest artists and craftsmen, laying the foundation for the production of Isfahan rugs in their current form. Shahroushi Rug Manufacturing is proud to have empl oyed the finest artists and most skilled craftsmen in this ensemble for the past 150 years. Selecting the finest materials necessary to produce the highest quality works of art is the top priority for the Master and his subsequent generations.
